PROJECTS
W. Via Lola
Palm Springs, CA
A 1954 ranch style house whose interior was redone by the owner. The unique feature on this eclectic home are the exterior murals done by the Bay Area artist Zio Ziegler. The client wanted a desert landscape instead of the conventional lawn and pool. Removing key parts of the existing pool decking and craning in large boulders created planting pockets for the desert landscape to occur. Careful attention to viewing corridors from the interior of the house to the exterior helped blur the line between inside and outside. The interior was a collaboration between Inside Outside Inc., Maureen Erbe and Rob.
